Winter Scene On The Equity Silver Mine Road Houston British Columbia (Photo)

This winter scene photo was taken from the Equity Silver mine road. In the summer months we would take the little ones up and they would hook into some trout, but always a catch and release.

This would again be from Houston, B.C.

Photo Below: A creek ran into a pond filling it up with water. At times the fishing was great for the kids.

My Daughter – A Great Place To Raise Your Family In Houston British Columbia

Some of my favorite pictures were of my kids. This is my daughter Tami when she was little. We picked some flowers one day and she went to smell them, and I took a picture.

Where does the time go, she is now grown and is married and has two children of her own. I miss those days.

Moose Highway 16 Sign Reads - Caution Moosen (Picture)

Below Photo: My wife and I were just leaving Houston, heading to Smithers, B.C. for the day when we both spotted the sign which should have read, “Caution Moose”, instead of that, it read “Caution Moosen”

Not long after I posted the picture, the sign was corrected.

World Class Steelhead Fishing - The Morice & Bulkley River In Houston, British Columbia (Pictures)

The above photo is of the Morice River, Houston British Columbia.
There are two men fishing.

The Bulkley River in British Columbia is one of the best Steelhead fishing rivers in the world. There are guides to take you to the best fishing holes on the river, or people come on their own, still finding that amazing fish that will give you the best fight of your life.

Not only is the fishing great, the scenery is eye popping and you will most likely see some of our wildlife visiting the shores of the river.

Also please visit the Houston, B.C. visitors center as they carry a
great selection of maps on the entire area.

Mr. Roland Ofner operates Morice Lake Guiding.
